Megan Sarrazin graduated from Grant MacEwan University’s journalism program in 2010. She is passionate about media and knew from an early age it was an avenue she had to explore.
Sarrazin’s interests are vast and are constantly expanding, allowing her to connect with the stories she tells and the characters she meets. When on the job, writing and photography take focus, but she loves every aspect of journalism including social media, editing, audio/video production and web design.
She is interested in human rights, human interest, politics, current and world events, fashion, music, nature, food, travel and so much more. In the summer months, she can usually be found on road trips, kayaking or hiking in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. In the winter, her favourite activities are snowboarding and cross-country skiing. In her spare time, she enjoys writing/blogging, reading, playing piano, travelling, listening to music and being outdoors.
Sarrazin is always looking for ways to soak up more information and learn new things about journalism, media and ultimately, life.
